Beautiful! As a white heterosexual male and Artist, I thank you for sharing this. I didn't want to point out my self identification, but it's important because I want to say how privileged I feel to be a part of such a wonderfully diverse spectrum of the best of humanity. Love to ALL! The Dude abides ! πŸ€˜πŸ˜ŽπŸ––πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ•ŠοΈ

Thank you to PBS for telling our stories, and elevating the work of LGBTQ+ People Of Color in Western New York! Thank you to everyone for all the love. I encourage all of you to attend a ball, continue to support the community, and believe in yourself!

I love the culture of Ballroom and what it has done for the Black & Brown queer/LGBTQIA+ community. Finding spaces that allow self expression, creates family, and gives safety is so invaluable. I hope that with more documentaries coming out and lights being shone on this, that Ballroom continues to thrive and be a beacon for the people it was created to embrace.

Ballroom was created by African Americans. Latinos are participants in some places. I hate that the "Black and Brown" narrative exist because it's not true at all. This is cultural appropriation and it needs to stop.

It's one thing to find a life. It's another to live that life. But it's a whole 'nother thing to SHARE that life. Sharing like this thrills me, to see the spaces where lives can thrive.

I wish all sentient beings much respect. We can get comfort without causing and in not causing discomfort. Be 'Vegan' until common sense and decency without prejudice or hypocrisy doesn't need a label, please. Love doesn't have ulterior motives, nor does it wait.

Living life on your own terms, love, forgiveness and gratitude are the key to physical longevity, spiritual growth in mental wellness. I salute the community and Pbs for giving them this outlet.
