I have friends who are vtubers and I follow some really awesome vtubers. it really helped solidify my desire to build one. I have a following on tiktok although not overly. I just enjoy being able to learn all this
I always wanted to be a Vtuber, but i'm not good at most things like talking even if i'm by myself i'm shy and nervous And i want to be a muted one but that will be difficult i believe
Thank you so much! Ive been wanting to do vtubing (even have my model ready) and didnβt really know how to start. Thins was very informational and helpful!!!
april fools day is a great way to kinda mix things with others.
I do a web novel and not every year but sometimes I've done a chapter swap basically where we write non cannon chapters for each other as a means of spreading word and having fun. I'm sure vtube could do similar.
I think a way of keeping your audience is actually your content. But not what it has, but what YOU do. If you have chat communication it ends up usually higher. Even Twitch's top categories show that. Just chatting is the highest by far, and people in streams usually like the communication. Makes the chat move and keeps the people talking which keeps the people. And even after genre switches those 30 or so from the very beginning will stay not because of the game, because of the streamer. A pattern I found of big and small streamers, chat.
THINK FAST CHUCKLE NUTTSS!!*proceeds to blind your own audience* ( I plan to become male vtuber but I donβt think my second model will not finish this year but Iβm still new to idea π‘which I just want to have fun but didnβt thing dabue really would matter thatβs awesome tip!
There's lots of nice tips in this, thank you for making it. 2:15 Do you happen to have any tips for design? It does seem pretty important, and going from the general character ideas to an interesting, specific design is the main thing halting me from starting.
Ive had the thought of being a vtuber a few times (i know im not doing an irl camera) I even have an idea of what it would be if i did though it wasnβt made for it, it would work Now all the other stuff ill work on setting up when i get a computer that saves info, but mostly for unity (i want to do things lots of things)
Great tutorial! I love having a one stop shop for this information. I also remember you making a post on twitter about "What not to do when starting out." Is that going to be a future video?
The only Vtubers that probably SHOULD focus on numbers are Vtubers who have their channels focussing on Math or Engineering or accounting and similar topics:2 Would be bad if they wouldn't focus on numbers :3 lol
Thank you Phia for the advice in your videos! I started a channel with my virtual avatar back in 2019, though it seemed like I was trying to run before I knew how to walk. Perhaps I needed to figure out just what content I needed to make, or maybe I didn't advertise it enough? I ended up stopping part way into 2020 since I needed to focus more on irl stuff. I plan to make a bigger comeback in 2022 when I'll finally get a better VR headset, and full-body tracking. I already have a new avatar made too, and made it through VRoid Studio; my previous models were custom made by myself.
I wonder if a channel dedicated to cosplay props with a virtual avatar would work… like I would make the props myself in Blender before physically making them. At least it's an idea I don't think has been done yet.
honestly, im ready to make my own model and learn live 2d. the only problem i have is how to set up that type of stuff and if my crappy laptop can even handle it. @ . @ i guess its gonna take some planning.
